Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Builderada ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through builderada.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site and to information you give us when you request an estimate.
1. The short version
We collect the contact and project information you give us so an estimator can reach you and quote your job. We share it with the people who need it to do that work. We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, phone number, email address and ZIP code
- The trades and scope you select when you build a scope request
- Your property address and project details, once you provide them for a walkthrough
- Anything else you choose to tell us by phone, text, email or in person
Information collected automatically
- Standard web server log data, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view
- Cookie and similar identifier data, as described in Section 5
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers or government identification numbers through the Site. Please do not submit them through any form here.
3. How we use and share your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Contact you to schedule a walkthrough and prepare an estimate
- Prepare, price and schedule your project
- Coordinate the crews and trades assigned to your job
- Respond to questions and provide customer support
- Send project updates, and marketing messages you can opt out of at any time
- Maintain business records and comply with legal obligations
We share your information with:
- The contractors and trades assigned to your project. They receive the contact and project details they need to schedule, quote and perform the work. They are required to use that information only for your project.
- Service providers who operate our business, such as hosting, email, phone, scheduling and customer relationship management vendors.
- Legal and safety recipients, where we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena or court order, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of others.
- A successor, in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Calls, texts and email
When you submit your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of text messages. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to opt out of marketing email. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about a project already underway.
5. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working correctly and to understand how visitors use it. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.
If we use third-party analytics or advertising services, those providers may set their own cookies and collect usage data under their own privacy policies.
6. How long we keep information
We keep the information you provide for as long as needed to serve you, to maintain business, warranty and tax records, and to comply with our legal obligations. When it is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it or render it unreadable.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices
You may:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep
- Opt out of marketing calls, texts and email
To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 11. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
9. Children
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is posted, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
